Much appreciated, @flylikeneagle. Based on your description, it sounds like the boots might be my best size. I do have a higher instep and tend to handle wide balls better than most. Hmmm, I'll have to do some serious thinking about this pair. $230 seems like a pretty good deal. I'm just a little afraid because I have no experience with AS boots.

Question for you guys. I'm a 7 E in C&J, 7 F in Loake, & 7 F in Cheaney. I cannot usually wear 7.5 because it's too roomy at the instep. I found a pir of Alfred Sargent boots that indicate size US 8 on the lining, but it also states UK 7.5. I'm wondering if a size 7 in AS would be the same as with these other British brands. I've found in my experience that C&J, Loake, and Cheaney fit me when I size down 1 full size from US. Is AS the same?

I'm not sure if this helps you, but I'm usually a 6,5UK and have both AS anc C&J boots in that size. I think AS fits just a bit tighter due to the last (mine are 89 last), but the sizing is clearly very similar between these brands.

I am looking for a burgundy adelaide Oxford, which Paul Sergant has on offer. Yet I could not find any information about their lasts or if they have a store.

In Paris the brand "Alfred Sergant" has several stores.

I'm not sure whether they have a physical retail presence outside of Northampton. They seem to also be scaling back their online partnership with A Fine Pair Of Shoes.

As for their lasts, the 724 is one of my favorites and fits me very well, which feels more hand-grade given the tighter waists. I wear it on the same size as my C&J 348s, which also fit me well but are slightly more elongated in the toe than the 724.

I was told that Paul Sargent wants to develop and focus on their own direct-to-consumer channel.

If you are visiting London, you could make an appointment and visit the factory in Rushden. It is within commuting distance. Take the train from St Pancras to Wellingborough (one hour) rather than Northampton then a 5 mile taxi to the factory.

Do PS shoes use the same lasts as AS? I fit perfectly in the 87F last with a size 9UK, which fits like a 9.5D US. Wondering if PS in the same size would fit the same.

Yes they do. Certainly the 87F last and others too I believe.
