d'you mean the green or beige part of money? or are we talking about the purple part of deutsch marks?

Walter Tevis, the author of TCOM, was, surprisingly (to me), a science fiction author. This year, I read MOCKINGBIRD, set in a dystopic future in which reading is banned, and the public self-immolates routinely. I would guess, if this was made into a movie, the sunglasses worn by Paul Newman, if he were in it (and not deceased), would be coveted by many.
