    I think the late author Paul Bowles was quite well-dressed. He smoked kif tainted cigarettes in a holder, and his marriage was rather well-known at the time being to the lesbian authoress Jane Bowles. [​IMG]

    The button holes in both lapels is a nice touch but don't you find those lapels simply TOO WIDE?

    In his magnificent memoirs Palimpsest, Gore Vidal writes of visiting Bowles in the early 1990s in Tangier, remarking how wonderfully Bowles was turned out in his Paris suits from the 1930s...

    What do you think was the color matching scheme of this outfit in real life? I think he matched a beige-tan suit with a gray shirt.

    Yes, it appears to be a suit in that tone, and it might be a celadon colored shirt possibly.
