The deadline for submissions has passed. Manton will soon select the finalists and a poll will be opened.

I don't envy the judge's job for this contest. There are a huge number of entries, many of which are of high quality. I hope you don't get dizzy from staring at all those patterns.

This is just great. Works against all the odds.

Great mixing of differently scaled stripes. Also the ratio of ground to figure in the tie design is just right. Perfect colors.

Four distinctly differnt patterns that work well together. What sets this apart is that the color of the tie is different than everything else, yet the secondary colors in the tie pick up the shirt. Nice.

Could have picked any of Ed's but went with this one. Because I am a sucker for blue and brown? Maybe.

Sweet use the Royal Artillery tie, even if I disapprove as a matter of principle.

Both combos are great, mostly, but I went with this one because the square sucks a bit less.

I liked the other one too, but good God man, who wears a white shirt in a pattern matching contest? This one is much, much better for our purposes.

HONORABLE MENTIONS:

Honorable mention because so ballsy. But too matchy-matchy to nominate, alas.

Also nice. Perhaps the best of the HMs.

Also great, but a bit "quiet" for a pattern combining contest.

Ed is that last one bespoke? I could have sworn I saw that in Dormeuil's books last fall. Cashmere blend, no? I was tempted but it pushed the price up too high.

I think that this is the most impressive of all in that the tie is intensely ugly (IMHO) but the entire thing looks good.
