I was looking around online for a pair of trainers/sneakers for wear with jeans and found this pair of "Patrick" shoes priced affordably. I've never seen or heard of them though, so before I order (and pay $30+ in shipping...) I'd like to see if anybody knows anything about the brand. Just curious about stuff like how their sizes run, the quality of the shoes (not expecting much, but I'd like something that won't fall apart on me after a little wear obviously), or anything else about Patrick. Thanks

Can't get your link to work, but as far as I recall, Patrick was a pretty standard French athletic shoe manufacturer. Used to be pretty big players in the soccer and biking worlds, but have fallen off since then. I think they've been trying to re-position the brand in the way their compatriots Le Coq Sportif have. Possibly made in Europe by people who are paid decently for their work, but I really wouldn't know.

My limited experience with the brand is a pair of soccer shoes made several years ago and are still extant. I think the size ran somewhat true then. Based on more current European athletic shoe sizing, they may run small (i.e., if you're a 9, order a 10), but this is also a guess.
