I went to the patagonia website to see if I could pick up a few pairs of stand up shorts w/ the 7" inseam on discount now that we're getting deep into autumn. They weren't there. I be pissed. I love them *****. I froogled 'em and almost everyone's out of stock.

Anyone else notice this/care? They could just be pulling them until spring rolls around. I don't see how they could just decide to stop making them as just about everyone I know has a pair. Alternatively, does anyone have any recs for shorts that are similar (i.e., canvas w/ short inseam)?

Don't worry brother, we stand up boys need not fret, they come and go in the catalog, but their reign never truely ends. My uncle has been wearing them for 30+ years-they'll be back.

Winter might have something to do with it. Time to turn this into the official Patagonia thread. Next poster: jet/uncontrol.

Ya, I realize most people aren't thinking about shorts right now, but it got up to 85F in NOLA today.

Doesn't matter. It's time for winter in fashion. Has been for a while.
