Following the retail QC discussion with Rezso this morning, we had good conversation regarding fit. He addressed all of the concerns I had and has now also offered a one-time refurbishment within the next 2 years.

I can't say enough positive things about Rezso and his commitment to customer service.

Anybody that's on the fence about ordering a pair because of fit should message Rezso. His experience from working in the industry for so long was definitely reflected in our conversation. It was almost as if he were in the same room with me when I tried on the shoes...which is weird! Lol

@rezso.kuti - if I wear 42 in Vass F and 42.5 in Vass U, what would you recommend for the Passus 1000 and 2000 lasts? Other sizing comparisons for me include GG/EG 9/9.5E and CJ/AS UK 8.5.

I'll recommend size UK8.5 in last 1000 and in last 2000 UK9.

@rezso.kuti what is the upcharge for MTO shoes? I'm not ready to pull the trigger yet, but for future reference.
One more thing... In the last few weeks, we have been slammed by a lot of orders, which is great news and an honor. As mentioned before we usually need 6-8 weeks to finish a pair of shoes, now we'll need more time. From the orders coming in from next week, we are looking at a delivery date at the end of September. Thank you for your understanding.

@rezso.kuti can you do Dainite soles or other kinds of rubber soles on MTO shoes?

I would be interested in some chukkas boots but with black leather, if that's something you can do. It's something I would want to go into fall and winter.

We are finishing now some sample pairs with Vibram soles. They look like Dainite. Or at least very close. Once we finished I'll post pictures. So, yes, we can do!

The next step in our little workshop-guide. The waist. We are using wooden pegs. Rasping by hand as well.
Also, wooden pegs used at the back of the sole. In the pictures, you can see three different models.
