@rezso.kuti is there a difference in longevity and ease of resoling with pegs?
To re-sole: I'll say it is the same. To use wooden pegs is a technology from the 18th century which we found interesting. So we made this pair. The issue of durability is divisive to this day. Many shoemakers anno preferred the wooden pegs versus hand sewing. But I'll say it is the question of the quality of the yarn/thread.

I remember you mentioning work on a loafer and a single monk shoe. Is there any progress on those that you can share with us?
Yes, we are almost there. We need some more weeks. I'll post the results here! The loafer is almost ready. I'll share some pictures with you really soon!

In the following pictures, you can see the next phase. We fill out space with corkwood and leather between the welts. A less scenic step but important. Below the leather next to the corkwood you can't see, but there is the shank. And of course, all made by hand.

Hey, the shoes do look very good!

I plan to visit Budapest once the covid situation is over, and plan to return with a few pair of new shoes!
I can definitely see a higher level of artisanship in your shoes than what VASS is able to offer, but was wondering how would you compare them to other Hungarian shoemakers? I heard good things about ATTILA for example, but haven't seen them yet.

Also, to what degree can we alter your standard lasts with the MTM process? I have a very shallow and wide feet, and would love a more supportive shoe.

Thank you! Far too kind. You are most welcomed in Budapest! You'll love this city. ;)

Unfortunately, we are not able to offer made-to-measure shoes right now. MTO shoes are welcomed.
Have you got shoes from the other mentioned shoemakers already?

I have 2 pairs of VASS and one pair of Buday. I heard good things about ATTILA, checked a few pictures of their work but haven't seen them live yet. The pictures offer a good insight into your shoes, but still would love to hear how would you compare them to ATTILA or VASS for example (i dont think they offer a such a nice fiddleback as you do).

Is there any degree of customization of the last in the MTO process? I mean, I seriously have a weird feet, and i need to size up quite a bit to fit into most standard lasts.

We do have 2 lasts at the moment. Both are narrower lasts. Our last 1000 can be compared to the F last at Vass Shoes. How do the Vass shoes fit?
Also, I am sorry but at the moment we can not modify our last in the MTO process. Thank you for your understanding.

Received my first pair today (Ordered through Sartoriale). They look and feel great. On appearance alone, I would buy these over ZB any day. I haven't tried them on yet but they are on the 2000 last. There's some slight cosmetic QC issues but I've dm Rezso for feedback.

I still can't believe the value and I also can't wait to see what else Passus will come up with.

Your shoes look great ! Can you show us a few pictures of the soles and sole edges?
How do these shoes compare in terms of fit and finishing to other makers you have worn?

The more I visit your Instagram page the more I like your shoes. Apart from choice of leather and last, what are the MTO options available? The model I am considering is the Tom derby.
