Really lovely shoes, it's nice to see such craftsmanship still exists today, working by hand. I have become jaded from things in this throwaway culture of consumerism. Shoemaking like this is what got me into shoes. I will keep my eyes on your offerings and likely make a purchase sometime in the fall when I settle down from my move to London which is now in limbo due to the virus. I hope things go back to some what normal and I can see more shoes first hand in London for the trunk show.

And a video of the process would be really cool. I know I am not the only one interested in seeing the process of hand making such fine shoes.
Thank you, Andrew. Far too kind. Hope to welcome you in London later this year.
We share the same passion, shoes made by hand. Follow us for more information and pictures of our production. The next chapter will be tomorrow available here!

Our little presentation continues. We have not finished the lasting yet. The next step: we sew the upper together with the midsole. To achieve better durability. We sew by hand the upper together with the midsole and after each stitch, we hammer it as well as shown on the pictures.

Gosh, I can't wait to receive my pair! Can you remind me about how long it usually takes for production these days?

How is this welt different from your standard welt?
We used at this pair only wooden pegs. Instead of classic hand welt. You can find some picture above of the other method.

Would you ever recommend wooden pegging over hand welting? Or is it simply showing what you can do?

It is simply showing what we can do. We do prefer hand welting.
