Tampa and Atlanta have some pretty damn good strippers, especially Tampa. Â I believe it has the highest strip club per capita population in the US

 Tampa also has some decent bars and clubs too.

Although ATL does have the all famous Cheetah, why not, if you are going in about 90 days, try Paris, TX....great time during spring break...loads of hot college chicks, and lots of wet t-shirt contests etc...and if you are single, better chance of getting laid than at the Cheetah or in Buckhead.

I just mean that it sounds like a great trip. Montreal wasn't the first city to come to my mind when I read this thread, but after someone suggested it, it sounds really fun. Lots of bands I like are from Montreal, and lots of bands I like tour there (although of Montreal isn't one of them, they're from Georgia), and as you said the art scene there is one of a kind. Now I really want to take a trip there.

I would like to go to Montreal sometime in the summer as well, not this year though, doing my big southern Europe trip this year. I heard much of their scene is underground (literally) to avoid the cold weather?

chris, I suppose the strip club scene in Atl has dried up a little since the Gold Club was shut down hmm?

You know Warren, I have to be honest, after I turned 30, a long time ago, I quit going, it seemed such a waste to throw money at a woman that I knew I would never get to touch. But I think you are right, it seems less and less I hear of people going to the clubs as much, but maybe that has more to do with the ages of the people I tend to converse with. I am sure the young guys still hit them hard, it is just a long way out of my way yo go to them anymore, plus the added benefit of going home at night with money in my pocket.

Thats true, I've never been a huge strip club fan, I also prefer spending money on other things (such as good food and drink) but I do end up being dragged along sometimes by my friends, esp in Vegas

I used to love strip clubs, when I was in my early twenties. after being to some clubs in some of the exotic parts of asia and eastern europe, the idea seems a bit stale, and anyway I have become very much of a homebody in thta respect.

drzzt - montreal and toronto (and winnipeg too) are largely underground. it is pretty cool, the first time.
