Me and some buddies, who are becomming increasingly spread out over the US, are looking to plan a weekend together somewhere, and I wanted some suggestions. Just a quick, fly in friday, party all weekend, leave sunday thing.

My guidelines:
*Vegas and AC are already being considered
*Want a good party scene, not clubs, but fun bars
*Not San Fran or DC (where we are all coming from), and not NYC
*Place we can get cheap flights to and from, and inexpensive hotel near the action

I was thinking Chicago. Any other suggestions?

Montreal. Or even Toronto? I don't know about air fares, though.

Montreal - yes. Great food and the strippers are some of the best in North America.

New Orleans is another option.

nice. canada is a great idea. We'll see. New Orleans is always solid, but we did that for Mardi Gras, so we'd like to try something new.

Thanks for the ideas. Anyone else?

I'll second Chicago, as it's easy to get to. And Montreal is a great place, though with a weak dollar not as cheap as it was a few years ago. I would probably decide between the two based on age. Montreal feels like a younger city (younger drinking age).

Strippers in Montreal, really? I'd never heard that one before...I thought Vegas was the meca for the hottest strippers *shrug*.

No Chicago, it's waaay cold right now, isn't it? Vegas is too crowded, or maybe I'm burnt out. Maybe New Orleans if you guys are the frat type. I'd go to LA, but I'm partial.

Tampa and Atlanta have some pretty damn good strippers, especially Tampa. I believe it has the highest strip club per capita population in the US

Tampa also has some decent bars and clubs too.

I've heard high praise for Mons Venus in Tampa. For those into that sort of thing.

Montreal sounds like a blast.
Hmmm... The reason I mentioned Montreal initially is for the Arts scene and the gorgeous mix of cultures. But to each his/her own.

I just mean that it sounds like a great trip. Montreal wasn't the first city to come to my mind when I read this thread, but after someone suggested it, it sounds really fun. Lots of bands I like are from Montreal, and lots of bands I like tour there (although of Montreal isn't one of them, they're from Georgia), and as you said the art scene there is one of a kind. Now I really want to take a trip there.
