Bonjour mes amis,

I love reading the forum, but this is my first post. I hope its in the right section.

I recently got my first job and celebrated with a bicycle holiday from Amsterdam to Paris. Now I am in this magical city, loving the cafe life and watching the style pass by.

I am looking to be a bit more stylish in Seattle and figured I could drop a few hundred euros here now that I am employed.

Does anyone have a recommendation for me on a place I could pick up a few shirts, belts, and maybe some shoes? I'd also like to pick up a few tshirts or tanktops.

Thank you,
Matthew

When I was in Paris I found a bunch of decent boutiques and shoe shops on Rivoli Street. At first glance the street and shops might not be a giant leap from many other high street shops in European cities but it was a breath of fresh air for me as ther was no sign of Gap, Banana Republic, Express, H and M, and all the other stores that saturate US cities.

Marais district, walk around until you find something you like.

Or if you don't enjoy boutique shopping, you can always head to the Bon Marche department store which will have just about anything.
