Thanks, I enjoyed that interview because I'm so passionate about this brand. Now available online in our webstore.
Quick question, I’ve noticed some of the Paraboots Michaels are labeled as Marche II. Is this a way of labeling the newer reissues or is this a completely different model in terms of details?

On the sole, between the heel and the forefoot there is an embossed Paraboot logo. Next to that logo is the name of the sole that Paraboot uses for that particular shoe. So, Michael uses a Marche II soles.

anyone has sizing advice for Paraboot Rousseau vs. say CJ 341? Pretty standard (i.e. same size as CJ UK size, and 1 down from US, how about toebox width? for example I find CJ 348, 325 too narrow in toebox)

For example if you were a size 9 US I would buy Paraboot size 8. You shouldn’t have any issues with toebox width. We can order these for you if you’d like.

Have a quick question for the Paraboot experts. Do the GYW and Norwegian welt models have a leather midsole?

Yes, we do order shoes for customers outside of what we stock. All special orders are final sale

No, usually a rubber midsole unless they are a leather soled shoe which are few.

I have the Rousseau in my standard CJ UK size (i.e. US - 1). YMMV, but I think the toebox is a bit more generous than the 325.

I know this isn’t the most active thread but figured its worth a shot. I’m looking to unload a pair of chocolate suede michaels. Worn for about an hour so while I won’t call them new they are basically new.

Size 42 / UK8 / US9

What do you recommend on sizing for the Reims? I measure 10D US on Brannock but typically wear 9.5 in many loafers.

We do find that sizing down a half size works if you are only going to wear them with a normal weight sock but as we always recommend with styles like Reims, Chambord, Michael, Avignon, a lofty sock feels and fits better in your true size. So for your size, we would recommend UK 9.

Same question but different. Do people usually where the same size in Reims as they do with the Michael?
