I tried both of these jeans on today and they both fit pretty much the same. I couldn't make up my mind on which one I liked better. FWIW, I'm 5' 7", weigh 150 and have a 30" waist. Neither one needed to be hemmed which kind of surprised me.

I know only I can decide which one to get but if there is anyone out here that has both, which do you prefer and why?

    Thanks

was 5'7" a typo? I'm 6' and would need to get both models hemmed a little.

I have a skinny 30" waist as well and I personally don't like how the hutch looks on me at all so I would definatley recommend the GTO.

No typo. That's what surprised me. I think they were both 32" inseams. I usually wear a 30 or 31 inch inseam.

I like both the Hutch with the GTO cuts, but love the Paper Denim 1-year wash and denim. Given that the Hutch will be around a long time, and they are phasing out the GTO-01, I would go for a pair of the latter this time around.

I didn't know they were getting rid of the gto-1year.

should probably pick up another pair then just-in-case.

Yep, the best two cut/wash combos are kaput, the ICN-Clone, and the GTO 1-year, no longer in their lineup. I have no idea why. They were, imo, easily the best jeans paper denim had put out. I know that companies need to change up their products, but what Paper Denim did was to get rid of pretty much all their players and brought in a bunch of unpromising rookies. Stupid. Even though you might not like the company or their product, Seven has done a much better job in this regard. They kept 2 cuts, tweaking them just a little each season (for example, the first men's boot cuts were cut much tighter on the thighs than they are now) and introducing new washes while keeping the basic wash (New York Dark) season after season, and at an affordable price.

Thanks for the reply. Is the GTO-01 the "actual" name of the cut? I've looked on Revolveclothing and can only find the 2 year and 3 year. (2LTD02 and 2GTO03).

Any other sources where I should look?

    Thanks

2-GTO-01 is the actual model name. I think that Barneys.com, Saks.com and eluxury.com still carry this model, but I can't guarantee it. Blaec.com has the model in size 34 only, and the most reasonable price ($165) if that is your size.
