Pants with this jacket?

HI all,

I am not sure what color of pants to wear with this jacket. I think navy blue works, but I'd like to explore some other options if possible. As fall/winter is upon us, I'm not sure khakis are appropriate. What are your thoughts??

Thanks!!

Taupe, beige, khaki, grey, certain browns (the ones sold as brown but that look more grey come to mind).

For some reason I see many men wear black pants with tweed. But that is a sartorial defalcation.

You picked up the RLBL. It must feel sumptuous with the angora.

Khaki beige and charcoal grey are your best bets.

Don't forget you can mix in orange and burgundy knitwear to push the autumnal themes without resorting to bold trouser colours. Having said that I'd probably wear bottle green or dark read cords.

Yes I did. The angora is wonderful, and combined with the perfect fit it feels like a hug from God every time I put it on :)

Thanks for the input everyone! I think I will wear khakis for the next couple of weeks and then give some grey slacks and some cords a shot. I didn't even consider burgundy or orange, but I think that would be a good looking combination!

Gray flannel. Most brown-gray provided it doesn't look too smooth.

Moleskin is another option.

PSG, that's pretty advanced pairing isn't it? What shirt/tie would you put with those trousers? I'm certain that done well that would look truly elegant, but every image my mind throws up is a fail.

Solid light blue OCBD and printed challis, madder, or a casmhere knit tie (and there are more possibilities)
