Can anyone who's had experience with pants from mytailor.com comment on the quality/construction/fabric? Specifically, how do they compare to the "big names" like mabitex, valentini, or even borelli, etc. I got the impression from the archives that they're comparable to WWChan, but mostly it mentioned shirts?

The way I figured it, if I buy a pair of nice pants online for $150-ish + $30-$50 for alterations. (I've never had pants that fit me well enough off the rack that didn't require at least two of three typical adjustments: waist/taper/hem) is right around the entry price for his pants, $200.

I'm in desperate need of help because I have a 32" waist, yet my hips/rear require a 34-36w pants in order for pockets not to flare on flat-fronts.... no I cannot live with pleats. Had them for years by default when I had cheap clothes. Once I dicovered flat-fronts, I never looked back.

Aaaanyway.. anyone who's had direct experience with MyTailor pants chiming in would be extremely helpful.

I know how you feel. I have a 31"/32" waist, but a rather large ass. I tend to buy 33" and have the tailor take in the waist. I've been considering mytail.com for pants, but I'd like to hear about someone else's experience first.

They're good-real good. I had Trabalza do some alterations on one of Hemrajani's suits made for me. Trabalza said it was really well made.

you'll have no complaints with quality of construction from mytailor. the only issue could relate to fit, if you have a specific cut in mind. in this case you will need to be very specific with them. but once they have you dialed in you're good.

Good to hear the pants are well constructed. What do you think of the fabrics? What material do they use for the lining?

Well, I ended up making an appointment in Charlottesville, VA this coming 21st. We'll see how it goes! I might post some pics and a short-take review when I'm done...

Hello, I am fashion analyst of men's clothing and apparel. I stumble on this forum while searching topics about brands that are favorable to customers.

My attention got caught by your thread and I just want to say my point about this topic.

I have noticed that you are complaining about pant's sizes and how they fit. Actually, there is no "perfect fit" pants that will match the size of your waist, hip, and butt. If a person have big hip and mush skimpier waist, then he would end up following the size that would fit to his waist, and vice versa.

Going back to the topic, mabitex, valentini, and borelli really produce good quality products, and higher standard of pants though much higher budget is required. And for my overview of MyTailor.com, the products that they produce can be compared to other brands which produce good quality products with less budget to consider.

If you decided to try their services, it would be helpful if you post a review of their product.
