1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

I think it's great, and inspiring, that a "regular guy" from the forum is working towards something pretty great that, I think, has come as a result of his presence on the forum. Nicely done.

I agree. Particularly because we are the beneficiaries. This was my first exposure to Ed's stuff (as well as Carl's for that matter) and it was all very impressive. I ended up snagging a couple of beers as well as a couple of ties from Ed and, in retrospect, regret sticking to my self-imposed "two ties and two ties only" limit. Sure beat digging through mounds of ties at the Warehouse sale.

I just got my first Panta tie in the mail yesterday (have a few pairs of Ed's awesome trousers) and it is wonderful. Easily superior to every other tie that I own in its price range ($99-$120) and the peer to many of the much more expensive offerings I have seen. It is great to have such a great local option. Thanks, Ed.

Also, I have a few swatches from Ed of some of his linen offerings. I will be done with them soon and would be more than happy to pass them along to any SF member who was interested.
