We used to ride our bikes over from Atherton to go buy pot in EPA.

This could be, I only talked to people I already know. They were OK.

Clearly, you haven't run into me around town yet then.

You can always head down to Antonio's Nut House and hang out with the Facebook kids!

I was there for a neo-con clan meeting. We were planning the next war.

Somebody asked me that yesterday. No. And it's tearing me up inside.

Wha! You've never been???? What's strange is that I've been invited up there by two different people and have declined, having absolutely no desire to go up there.

well if you're after pure quaintness there are some southern towns that i've visited that are pure eye candy to the point that you want to live there. the obvious one is the nice parts of savannah ga.

my wife works in stamford and its advantage is its proximity to NYC, we like the area but decided to live in the city, because stamford is boring.

palo alto is theoretically near san francisco, but factor in traffic and its totally not.

Stamford is not that great. My little 'burb is a lot nicer and closer to Manhattan to boot.

I don't just mean quaintness; there certainly are quainter towns than PA. But it's nice looking. It has a lot of other things going for it.

I thought you might be turned off by all the hybrid cars and shopping bag re-users.

I used to live in downtown Palo Alto and really liked it. But, we would sometimes call it Shallow Alto.

I was told yesterday that in California if you own a hybrid you can use the diamond lanes even if you are driving alone. Hell, I would get one for that reason alone.
