Just wanted to point out to everyone that according to this very well thought out essay(http://www.styleforum.net/showpost.p...&postcount=75), the very act of posting in this thread indicates that you lack any style. With that aside, here are my photos:

    Ties:
Talbott Best of Class (debatable as applied to this tie), Isaia 7-fold, Harolds (people from the South know this store):

OK. I put the first one in principally as a joke. My wife refers to it as the velvet Elvis painting. Obviously someone at Robert Talbott was having a bad day.

Let's don't leave out pocket squares (some of my favorite pocket squares):
Clockwise from top left: Unknown, Kent Wang, Robert Talbott.

I'll play. Here's my modest collection of paisley ties. [IMG] #1 on the far left is courtesy of AlanC. Edit: Let's not get started on paisley pocket squares; they're easy to find and easy to coordinate with ties, shirts, etc.

I have a couple paisley ties, and I'll try to snap some photos to contribute here tomorrow. FWIW, I'd rather wear iammatt's maligned cream paisley than most of what's been posted since he began this thread.

Mark, those are beautiful. I especially love the first tie - that just looks fantastic. And to say that I am jealous of your pocket squares would be an understatement -- the white one is alright, but the other too (especially the left-most one) are simply fabulous. Any ideas on where I could find pocket squares like those? Thanks.

Thanks. I get most of my PS whereever I find them. The bottom one was from Nordstroms. Not sure where I got the top left one from. Probably Saks or Barneys or Nordies.

Interesting thread as I have been on somewhat of a paisley buying spree lately. I hadn't owned one in years and bought 3-4 recently, including this Battistoni from chorse (I'll take pics of the others tomorrow).

Here is a vintage Dior tie I inherited from my grandfather:

I fear we're going to blind Manton, if not put him into shock. I do love that Dior tie however - how old do you think it is?

I believe it's from the late 1960s or early 1970s. It is #12 from a limited edition of 29.

There's something loud yet subtle about that tie - and I like the very elegant, yet modern-looking, pattern.
