This time it’s me to ask for some advice as I’m seeking inspiration and ideas for pairing what I think is a lovely hat, but not sure what to combine it with: the Bogart Cut 02 from Borsalino in the color “Jorasse” (sand)... see here for details: https://bogart.borsalino.com/

What I think makes it a little tricky is the combination of light cream/sand color (which I read as more casual) with the more “formal” cut (medium wide brim and slightly higher crown). I’m now looking for attire/looks to wear with it and was thinking down the line of e.g. a safari jacket. It could probably also pair well with a navy suit, but this will be a bold combination. Personally, I’m a big fan of the golden age 1920-50ies looks, but try to transpose them a bit into our time.

What could you envision this hat to work well with? Thanks in advance for sharing your views!

Linen? Unless a straw hat is more appropriate.

That’s the thing, the hat looks like summer color-wise, but it’s the same fur felt like the winter hats and I would probably only wear it in spring/autumn or on cooler summer evenings. Otherwise in summer I‘ll be wearing my Panama straw hat. Linen definitely sounds like a good idea...I curios what kind of looks could work with it...
