I'm currently trying to get my hands on a pair of heavyweight-ish chinos or cords that falls within the range of Epaulet, Rogue Territory, Wings+horns price point and quality for a heavy midwest winter. Kind of drawing a blank here on a good brand -- suggestions?

    Thanks

I have a couple of pairs of PRL cords by Corneliani that work well. They have variations of the same colors every fall. I wear them through cold winters and they've worked out. I also wear lined flannel as it does the job.

    Were they RTW or bespoke?

Just the RTW ones that they sell in the shop. Think I paid about £135 plus a little more for tailoring them (slimming the thigh).

Howard Yount? I think they're about the same price-point as Epaulet.

Any idea on how they fit? Slim/slim-tapered?

    Cordings? High waisted and slim.
