So OK, a door fell onto my tan SAB.
Yes, a door. A white door as it happens.
Which smeared paint into the hide as it landed on the case and slid off. Fortunately it seemed to be an oblique glancing blow as there's no structural damage that I can see.
It's a testament to the quality of the hide that it doesn't actually show that much after a standard feeding/brushing, but there are still traces of the white paint, plus of course darker scuff marks.
Aside from taking it to SAB - which is an option, what else can I do? Or is it just a case of 'oh well'?
