Pad Thai, hands down. Though a good Gado-Gado would also be up there.

Pad thai has 1000% more flavor. I've never had a good lo mein, and I've eaten at a lot of good chinese restaurants.

Depends on who makes the pad thai: I've had some amazing pad thai, but I've also had some pad thai that tasted more like a plate of salt garnished with pad thai.

Same goes for Lo Mein. I've had excellent versions of both and versions that I thought would put me off the dishes forever.

Chinese food is intrinsically better than Thai food for my palate.... but these are not the best examples of either fare. I'd still pick Lo Mein.

What about Chap Chae?

Lo Mein is like what you get in the food court.

I have no clue where I'd go to find good Lo Mein, but I can get good Pad Thai at several restaurants within 10 miles of bumblefuck.
