Hi, I have a pair of Dark Brown Starrs. They came w/ two sets of strings (both dark brown). However, I'm wanting to jazz them up a bit and was considering lacing them w/ a different color of s. string? Is this a good idea? If so, what color(s) do you suggest?

Are you really sure you want to do that? Sounds risky. You are practically begging to be ridiculed.

How about red?

What if it backfires? It could cause serious injury.

Alright, haha....I can see that I'm already catching crap for posting this thread. I just dont want to look like an idiot when I make the change. For now, get your shots in, but atleast give your opinion re what color strings would look good (NOT RED)!! What color (light brown, cream, grey, or black) would look best w/ dark brown???

mid-brown *might* work, but dark brown will probably cause a riot. you might get raped orally if you live west of the mississipi
