    Dear Fellows,

Do you, like me, find the existance of Oxxford in modern America a pleasant anomaly?

Do any other off the rack manufacturers offer MORE handwork on their product? Attolini, Kiton, Brioni, etc? We can exclude the bespoke tailors from this comparison.

    Suits?
    Jackets?
    Trousers?

I very much enjoy my Oxxford trousers and am proud that there is such quality still coming from America.

    Regards.

I always said, you could put together an extremely nice all-American ensemble:

Oxxford suit (especially the pants--the construction is phenomenal)
    Robert Talbott shirt and tie
    Alden shoes

True, but that of course, is an american idea, so at least it's consistent. koji

I've ordered some Talbott MTM shirts, and I always ask for no breast pocket. No problem.

It's not too difficult a task to have the pocket removed. I remove the pockets myself from all 'dress' shirts I intend to wear casually, but a tailor would be able to take care of it with no problem. It's best to do it before the shirt has been washed for the first time. Turn the shirt inside out and carefully snip the stitches from the backside of the pocket. Work gingerly and it's an easy job. Wash and iron the shirt after, and the little pinholes will disapear.

No, I do not believe any other RTW suit, jacket, or trouser is more handmade than Oxxford.

Actually, Oxxford has more handwork than quite a few bespoke tailors.
