Here we go, I ripped up this coat and took some pics with my cell phone. Needless to say, the pics (like the title indicate) are ******. But, the ball don't lie.

Hand padded lapel.

Machine padded upper chest, lower shoulder.

Hand padded collar, which was also attached by hand. You'll have to take my word on that.

Another shot of the machine padded upper chest, lower shoulder.

Barely visible label.

Hope these pics are at least decent enough to give you some idea. I don't work for anyone, I'm just a lowly schlub that will do anything but study for the bar.

When is someone going to kill a Campagna or Poole suit for us?

Well, that confirms many of the chatters that Oxxford has more handworks than Kiton.

Indeed, I feel left out, so when I go home, I'm going to take the chainsaw to a few of my wife's Jimmy Choos; photos to follow of course.

yes, I have had a sneaking suspicion for years that the shank was made of aluminum, and not steel like they claim. Pics to follow...

I need a bit more time, as I'd like to secure alternate sleeping arrangments prior to this experiment.

I'd like to see some Neoplolitan tear downs.

Are you out there Matt?

I've always wondered about the accuracy of the "no padding" claims.

What's a Rubinacci or Caraceni for the cause

I think I can find a Hart Schaffner & Marx to tear down, and maybe a Lauren Chaps

LOL, never say I didn't do anything for you. It was an old jacket that never fit well in the first place. I'm glad you found it informative. Next, I'm ripping apart a Despos.

The upper chest is machine padded, but the collar is padded by hand.

The collar certainly looks hand padded to me.
