I'm very interested in this suit with the exception of the gorge looks weird to me ..

The gorge does seem a bit low and oddly cut.

Now, this Oxxford, in Dupioni silk, looks great for $750. Although, the seller should button just the middle button.

I agree that it looks pretty good with the lapels a little wide.

The lapel is Frost Bros.! They were a great store in San Antonio and Houston. I believe the last one closed in 1988. So that would make this NOS Oxxford at least 18 years old.

But if you like the lapel width and flat front pants, why not? The style still works today. It's further proof of Oxxford's "Timeless Elegance!"!.

I've noticed that the older flat front pant Oxxford suits on Ebay (from the 1980's and early 1990's), go for about the same as the newer pleated pant suits, which are being sold used. It's the only brand I know of where this is true.

If you like it and the Ebay price is right, go for it. It's NOS and still in style.
