I think it may fit closer to a 48 from the measurements. Scared off yet?

Working buttonholes can be problematic if you need the sleeves shortened.

I have this exact suit in a 46R and it looks much nicer than the pics. I bought mine about 4 years ago in SF for around 700 NWT on sale.

Oxxford has occasionally used the "Handmade in Chicago" label starting about 2000.

Also, the designation of the cloth as Ambassador's is also a recent thing of the last few years.

I think that the prior poster's statement that the suit is 4 years old is a safe assumption.

I think it might. While some SF'ers may be motivated to find it on their own, some might not. Can't hurt to try. Meanwhile, I learned my lesson. Only share with SF those things you dont want for yourself.
