Oxxford Clothes Emperor's Cashmere Overcoat

I received a beautiful navy Oxxford Clothes Emperor's Cashmere overcoat from my uncle. The coat is in beautiful condition. Appears to be about a size 48. I don't know how old it is, but it looks like it has seen very little wear. The lining is fully intact and the condition of the material is superb. Might anyone be able to tell me the value of a coat like this?

Any secondhand item is worth what you can get for it.

More particularly, a consignment store here in my city had one recently for, IIRC, around $300-400. But it might go for more or less, depending on condition and where it's being sold and who's buying.

It won't be much. IME oxxford anything doesn't fetch much on the used market. I did see a new one for $6k at Neiman Marcus though

^ I agree. Not as much as it should given the quality, anyway. The fact that its cuts are often somewhat staid plays a big role. As KenCPollock said, "Oxxford has wonderful tailoring, some fine fabrics (and some very ugly stuff), but are cut by idiots. If you are not short and fat, it makes you look like it."

I have the very same coat. I bought it a few years ago, when I lived in Boston. Can't remember what I paid for it, but I guess they sell for over $3k these days.

Just saw HROI's post about $6k. Looks like I am out of touch.
