I just exchanged a pair of park aves for 5th aves for that exact reason. The upward curve of the sole at the tip is extreme; the sole itself is about 2x as thick as the 5th ave one and is unlikely to straighten with use. I also didn't like the captoe itself on the PA's, looks quite bulbous. Take a look at the 5th aves if you don't mind that little brogued strip.

yeah. i really have no idea what to do at this point.
