When I do single-night trips, I like to take a change of underwear, shirt,, shoes, minimal toiletries, a note book and a laptop. I have a number of bags that would be called "overnight bags," but none really work perfectly. They have one large pocket, perhaps side pockets or mesh lining pockets, and tend to be quite bulky. They can easily carry two full changes of clothes.
I am looking for a bag small enough to only really the underwear, shirt, shoes and toiletries that are typically required, and my laptop and note book, ideally in a separate compartment. This means the bag should have two fairly similarly-sized main pockets, and perhaps a third for toiletries. It should be about 12"x12"x18", and made of leather, canvas, or some similar natural material. It should look normal enough to carry clothing in, and at the same time, take into a meeting.
Where the hell would I find this sort of thing? It's like a laptop bag combined with an overnight bag, and while I've looked (Filson, etc.), I'm just not really finding what I'm looking for.
