• CALLING ON HOME SEWERS TO HELP HEALTHCARE WORKERS FIGHTING COVID-19

The lack of proper masks, gowns, and eyewear equipment is making it difficult for health workers to do their work fighting the novel coronavirus. In a recent New York Times article, medical workers said they were worried about how they can both fight the coronavirus without imperiling themselves, as well as their loved ones when they go back home.

If you are a home sewer, please consider helping my joining Hickey Freman Technical Vice President Jeffery Diduch in his effort to produce and deliver homemade gowns and masks to medical professionals in the greater Rochester, New York Area. Read about how you can help here

The last overcoat I bought was too short in the sleeves and not enough fabric to lengthen them.
Here’s my second purchase. How’s the fit? I need to take it in a bit in the body.

My concern are the low armholes and possibly It’s too big in the shoulders - a deal killer? However, it’s much easier to take on and off the overcoat than with the other, slimmer, overcoat. With a little body tailoring does it work? It’s longer than the other overcoat which I like.

It's an overcoat.....should be a little roomy, especially if you are going to wear a jacket under

This pictorial reminded me of the 1998 film Dark City. I like the style on you, but I am a bit disturbed by the very fact. I think you have the ability to wear this piece and make it look stylish. You might be the only human to do so, but it just works the way it is for me. Sorry, everything I write here is aimed to be a compliment.
