similar to raw denim or tougher?
Got my Ultrafine t-shirt. My chest is a 40, I went with the Large. It fit "ok", but not great. Sending it back for a Medium. It seems as though many of their shirts are cut on the slightly larger size. If you are in between sizes I would suggest sizing down. Just my .02
ive got a pair on the NYCOs in size 32 olive, too big for me, anybody willing to trade for a 31?
anyone have the vest? i am tempted to get it for layering. would be used in new england winter underneath veilance field jacket.
According to UPS, mine was delivered this morning. I will be sure to offer some feedback when I get home and check it out.
If you were referring to my post, I can't answer, unfortunately, having never owned or felt raw denim - but I think Outlier's site says they're tougher than raw denim. When I spoke to them on the phone, they said the material wouldn't stretch out much, I guess because of the nylon content and the very tight weave.
Got my Nycos. Waist was TTS, legs are slim, but not overly tight. I have muscular legs from biking, so unless you have big freaking legs, I think most guys will be ok in the leg/thigh area.
Material is stiff, but pretty soft. Definetly digging these pantalones.
Fit pics? Do they feel more like the other Outlier fabrics or more like real jeans?
Don't understand this statement haha. Is it similar to raw denim maybe?
Outlier did well to price something at $100, I was hesitant to spend for their pricier trou but gave NYCOs a shot. In OD in 34 and 36. Take 34 in most pants, like J crew, but 52/36 in italian trou like incotex. 36 was way too big, 34 quite nice. They drape nicely; not nearly as stiff as new denim, IMO. They're not as slim through the leg as I had expected, to continue the comparison, closer to J crew than incotex.
Getting them hemmed now.
Can you compare the fit to either the urban slim fit or classic fit J Crew chinos?
How thick/warm are they?
I didn't find them stiff, I just wish the leg was slimmer.
A tailor can taper the trousers
Soft to the touch, but very stiff as in straight, not much bend I guess.... Like raw denim.
