Please do let me know what your experience is when comparing the fit of 501's to Slim Dungarees. Thanks!

You mean you wear a 33x34 in 501? I also usually go with a 34" inseam on jeans. You don't find the 32.5" inseam on the Slim Dungarees to be a bit short?

Are you quite tall or you prefer to fold and stack your jeans?

I'm quite tall. Around 192cm or 6'4". Fortunately my legs are a bit short for my height, 32.5" seems to work for dress pants, but 32" have always felt too short for jeans...I don't have a problem with rehemming if there is the extra material for that and the fabric allows it without being too obvious. Can anyone comment on how much extra material there is for rehemming? Or if they for example heavily iron the crease for a permanent line making it inadvisable to rehem downwards?

Any thoughts about the Doublefine Merino Cardigan? I'm looking at the Evergreen color, but I'd love to hear of any experience/opinions.

I meant a 33 or 34 in waist, but generally a 34" inseam as well. The low rise and taper on the slim dungs makes the 32.5" inseam work just fine for me. They don't stack, but I don't want them to. For reference, I'm 6'4" as well.

If all else fails, just buy them and send them back for free if they don't work.

    IME.....

    Pros:
nice slim cut (sleeves and body), not to long but not short either
warm but breathable, one of the few things I can wear all day on days with big hi/low temps difference
lapel/collar is great folded or popped for extra neck warmth
easy to spot clean when necessary
fabric is smooth to the hand/touch and drapes nicely

    Cons:
    attracts some lint
inner plackets (folded fabric) not sewn in place so flops around a bit when unbuttoned

Oh and size normal for slim fit (not tight, not loose either), or size up for slouchy, slightly oversized fit

i'd second canstyleace. it's certainly pricey but it doubles (ha) as a jacket on cooler days or as a burly layering piece on really cold days. the hand, drape, fit is spot on. i had thoughts of getting a second one this season and might still.

i'm a 36 and the XS works perfect for me.

I've had mine for a few months and wear them a lot. Nothing has changed on the fabric and they still repel water.

Good to hear. I would have already ordered them but they don't offer free return shipping from Sweden :-/.

Just received the slim dungs in 34. Perfect fit for the most part. A little baggy in the ass--but, waist, thighs and everywhere else fit well.

They are a little more tapered from the knee down compared to my OG's--and I wear a 33 in those.

For reference I typically wear a 32-33 in most denim.

I checked as soon as I got the e-mail. Something is fishy about it. I don't think they had anything in stock...
