1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Could anyone shed light on whether the Nycos are office appropriate in a business casual workplace? They look great and the price is right, but the images remind me of some super-stiff Dickies or something. Thoughts appreciated.

They're a little stiff but IMO perfect business casual pants. As for the person who asked about them "breaking in"--I've worn mine 6 or 7 times and washed after each; look about the same now as they did when I bought em. Whether that's a good thing or not is in the eye of the beholder

I have a pair of new Nyco slims in olive in 36 I'll let go for $75 shipped CONUS. Bought em when they came out, they were too big for me, and I'd feel bad asking for a return label at this point...

    Please don't ban me, Fok

Thanks for your response! I just ordered a pair of Nyco in 32 navy - I'm really glad to hear that they're office appropriate.

Ya I have the navy nycos and wear them to work all the time. Although my mom did say something about them looking like dickies

Wearing my olive green nycos at work now. Granted we dress casual here, but yes the Nycos can easily be worn with a BD and a tie.

Jumping on the bandwagon.. I'd love a proxy to the west coast (shipping to WA), willing to reciprocate with Vancouver (or Canada) proxy service.

    from the outlier email:

Clear out! We've got a whole lot of good stuff taking up way too much real estate here at the studio. We're up to our necks in random garments, returns, samples, mislabeled items and more. It's time to make room for new things, an Outlier As Is Sale is in order. Due to the nature of the products involved, this is an offline, in-person event in Brooklyn, NY. We absolutely can't take online or phone orders.

Starting Friday, Februrary 15th all items are $100, Saturday is $80 and Sunday everything drops to $40. As you might have guessed, the earlier you get there the better pick you have. As Is means that all sales are final; no returns, no exchanges and no refunds. Just three days of crazy good prices, and, if history is any kind of indication - some definite craziness.

Now we know this isn't the best email for those who don't live near NYC, so we've got a small bit for you too. From now until Friday, February 15th we're offering free shipping on all orders over $100, both international and domestic (free UPS ground shipping for domestic; customs/fees may apply to international orders).

    Here's the run down:

The Outlier As Is Sale will be hosted at

    Ride Brooklyn
    34 N 7th St.
    Brooklyn, NY 11249

    Friday, February 15th 12-7pm - all items $100

    Saturday, February 16th, 10-6pm - all items $80

    Sunday, February 17th, 11-5pm - all items $40

    Cash and credit accepted.

    All the best,

Abe, Tyler and the Outlier crew
