Outfit Query

Hey everyone, my parents are coming to see me this weekend, and I wanted to try to look nice for them with a new outfit . Here's what I was thinking:

Dark gray suit
Pale Pink Oxford Button-down collar shirt
Navy blue tie with white starfish (I'm from a nautical area)
Navy blue socks
Black belt/shoes


Would this look okay?

You should get socks to match your pants. If you feel more comfortable with your command of clothing then you can start pulling colors from your tie or elsewhere for socks. However, since navy is the other typical suit color it will look like you got dressed in the dark and wore the wrong socks. Small detail but then you know what they say about God...
