The host lost a range of IP addresses. Apparently their upstream provider yanked them for some new DSL project. One of those addresses was ours. So after some messing around with it, they got us back online. If you're having trouble logging in or staying logged in, delete your cookies. In Internet Explorer, go to Tools, Internet Options, Delete Cookies button, OK. Let me know if anything else is still messed up. BTW, all the links to the http://66.17....../whatever won't work anymore- though you can replace the number part with "styleforum.net" and they should work. J. P.S.: does it seem REALLY slow to anyone else, or is it just my bad connection today?

Thanks for the update J. The forum seems pretty fast for me right now. Maybe there aren't many people on it right now.

Probably not until I convert the forum to vBulletin, which is happening sometime soon. Hopefully there will be a tool to reindex a search function.

I've seen a bunch of forums that run through vBulletin. They seem to have phenomenal forum software.

Good call. I visit a lot of other boards, one of which is in the top 10 largest on the internet, and all the large places use vBulletin.
