Other jeans that fit similar to the raw RRL Slim?

Just the regular slim, not slim boot RRL. It's been a while, but I really liked them. Don't know if they are supposed to be a skinny jean, but they fit me like one. I especially liked the size of the leg opening. It was smaller than others I've tried (APC NC, Acne MIC, Nudie Slim Jim) and that was part of what I liked.

I was thinking the Crate journal, but it looks like the leg opening might be a little bigger than the RRL

For a slim jean the RRL Slim isn't especially slim. The jeans that are going to fit the closest are probably the APC NS, KMW Rocker (or even the 1980, depending on how big your thighs are), Nudie Even Steven, Flathead 3001s or maybe even Skull 6x6s.

I'm not as skinny as most of the dudes around here. I tried on a 34x32 and they were slimmer than my APC New Standard 32W. Definitely smaller leg opening.

I think it's a really slim cut, fairly close to the Skull 6x6s or Flathead F310s as Teger said, but I'd say they are a good deal slimmer than those other models he mentioned.

They really aren't that slim.. I'm about 99% sure that a size 32 has an 8' leg opening. They just seem slim because the knee is pretty narrow and there's a slight taper, and the thighs are tight.

to the OP, the crate journal has a pretty wide openning, i THINK upwards of 8.5 of 8.75. I would say it's a straight leg that is slightly on the slim slide.

I don't get it. They're narrow in the knee, has a slight taper, and is tight in the thigh. Why wouldn't that be considered a slim fit?

I'm not talking about wanting a skinny, rocker type jean. I'm talking about slim. The APC NS to me is almost there, but I have more room through the whole leg than I did with the RRL

IIRC, my 32 slim fit leg opening is 7.5", and I believe 8.5" at the knee (I'll check and post back). They are much slimmer than my APC New Standards in the thighs, at the knee, and below the knee.

I'm actually looking at the RRL's or some other kind of slim fitting jean. Do you think it's better to go longer inseam with slim jeans and let them stack or go for more of your regular length.

One more thing about the RRL's. Do they stretch much in the waist (pre wash) or shrink in length after you wash them? I've read that most raw denim shrinks 1-3 inches.

This might have changed from previous generations, but the newest slim cut RRL jeans are definitely slim. onion's measurements sound right. When I tried them on, I remember the hem being smaller than 5EPxSF, APC NS, etc.
