Oscar was truly amazing. I had the good fortune of catching his last Yoshi's show in Oakland. I love his joyous playing and command. I especially like the stuff from his 50-60s trios, but this later performance is pretty amazing:

I was complaining in my head of another jazz/classical thread about some music that is making Conne blow his load, but after watching that video- I can't complain. That's pretty awesome.
