Anyone have the Army Chinos? Are they heavy and slubby? Looking for something to replace my old RRL officer chinos.

i got a pair. they shrunk not an insignificant amount in a hot wash but I was thankful for that as the other posted implied, they're bigger than your usual orslow sizing.

they were quite uniform when new but the wash brought the slub out. i don't think they're very heavy, maybe just slightly heavier than your average khaki chino.

i like em.

A season or two back they started selling the army chinos in a “raw” version that fit big initially but then shrink with a wash to fit more like the older version.

How do the army chinos compare to something like the Brycelands or Amoury army chinos? The Brycelands look good dressed up with a chambray shirt and tie. Would the Orslows, or are they more casual than that?

Yes, and I’d say they also fit slimmer than their other shirts. If you’re a 2 in their button downs then I might recommend a 3 for the work shirt.

Yes. Make sure to check the sleeve length. It may not work if you're tall.

really digging the New Yorker in indigo fleece for this season's drop. I noticed on blue owl's website it has longer measurements than the usual new yorker in the same size, like inseam and rise.

and now see they sold out in my size in 8 minutes. nice! $295 was too rich for my blood

It would be great if they added affirm or something like that but it would also be super dangerous for my wallet...

I just went through this myself. I ended up going down a size and it’s worked out really well. They have not shrunk, if anything they have stretched a bit with wear.

I think I've actually gotten a bit of shrinkage in mine by doing a hot wash and dry!

Would any of you know where to get the vintage fit shirt in ecru and in indigo, size 3 or 4, preferably in Canada or the US? I've been hunting for them but can only find them at a few stockists and not in the right size. Thank you kindly
