I've owned the 107, 105, French work pant, New Yorker, two tuck, 101 and indeed the 101 has been my favorite fit. Just the right amount of space.

I suspect the 100 super dad would be a similar fit to the EKs and a bit too wide for my taste.

Would definitely be interested in a selvedge 101. Also interested in trying out the French work wide fit

I really like the vintage fit fatigues. They are comparable to the 101s, and the darker olive is nice for the fall and winter vibes.

But I agree, the super dads and the EKs may be a bit too exaggerated.

What size would I be in the 105 One Wash? I'm 6'1" 195, 33" waist and have more of an athletic build in my legs. I've tried 105s in 3 in the 90s wash but I've heard about inconsistency between different washes of the brand. Do the one wash run smaller or more TTS?

How does the french work pants compare to regular fatigue pants? Are the thighs the same width? I’m trying to figure out my size in french work pants. I’m size 2 in regular fatigues, size 2 in easy cargo and size 3 in 105.

Thanks for any help ✌️

I did. It was a big (last?) splash for me after sizing up all my pants this year.

I picked up the 101’s earlier this year, and saw the EK collab, thinking they’d be similar in size.

They are not!

They are wider from the top block all the way down.

If you rocked skater pants in the 90s, these will feel very nostalgic, and very disorienting.

The slimmest I manage is the 66, which I picked up this year too, as my “dressy” jeans. The 101s are my cool and cozy, and the painters are somewhere in between.

Not sure how I feel about the EKs
Thank you for the reply! I ended up passing on them but this is interesting to read, I did pick up some Junya Watanabe trousers that I'm guessing have quite a similar fit to the EK joints... only orSlow I have in rotation now are the M-52 pants in black which rock btw!!

I’ve honestly never found the sizing to be as inconsistent as some people claim. I go with size 4 on everything and I’ve never had any issues.
I just bought some from a guy on eBay. I got the 105s in a size three and they fit excellent!

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
