CANOE CLUB X ORSLOW - VINTAGE BORO WESTERN SHIRT - INDIGO

I'm happy to open preorders for the VINTAGE BORO WESTERN SHIRT from our beloved orSlow.

"For this collaboration with orSlow, we wanted to create something that feels super personal. We started with their take on the iconic Western Shirt, a piece that already feels nostalgic and rooted in classic detailing with tons of history built in. Each shirt is built from Japanese denim, hand adorned with vintage snap buttons, stitched with western yoking, washed throughly and tied up to start you off with a shirt that feels like you've owned it for years. For the patchwork throughout, OrSlow's founder and designer Ichiro Nakatsu hand selected vintage Japanese fabrics from his personal collection to compliment each shirt, using them throughout the garment to add to its beauty. These fabrics will age perfectly alongside the denim with continued wear. Each shirt is completely unique with a personality of its own that will grow with you throughout life's journey."

Got a size chart here, as well.

@shopcanoeclub - Was coming here to ask for this exact information. Thanks!

Any other special stuff in the works with them? I know Norse did their SMU Army shirt in navy that I missed out on. Would LOVE to see you do something like that with them, or maybe a tan color?

This is actually really disappointing.

The fit and finish look worse than my Slim Fits (made in Japan) and definitely worse than my Dickies 1922 especially the SPI. And the fabric from the Army Fits feels very different compared to the Slim Fits which is dry, papery and lighter with Army ones.

FWIW, my V5361 VINTAGE FIT ARMY TROUSERS are made in China
Where did you get them from? Could it be fake?

I've never seen a label with base denim products on it.
Also, where it is made "Made in Japan" is normally at the top, not at the bottom of the label.

Also, why does it look like there is a strange bubble around the orslow logo and size label? Again doesn't look like any label I've seen before.

I don’t think they are fake since I got them from Blue Button Shop. The labels are pretty similar with my Army Fit Fatigues and Slim Fit Army Trousers (got them from @shopcanoeclub) just without the MADE IN JAPAN line.
Also if you check out the same Army Fit Trousers from @shopcanoeclub, they look pretty much identical to mine https://shopcanoeclub.com/collections/orslow/products/vintage-fit-army-trousers-khaki

There are few sites that disclose country of origin of Chinese made orSlow products.

It seems some items from latest season are actually really made in China. I saw the black M-65 and that it is Made in China and was super disappointed. It seems they are moving most of stuff to China soon?
