Can someone advise when Orslow stopped putting the little label on the pocket of their Jeans? I see some older Jeans have a little lable on the edge of the rear right pocket.

Thanks

The ones without tag probably are the ones imported to the US because of Levi's lawsuits.

The ones with tags are overseas ones. I read somewhere that if you buy some raw denim from Japan that have the tab, they will cut it off before shipping it to the US.

Fun fact: Tellson actually has their tab on the inside. https://www.heddels.com/2013/02/the-story-and-philosophy-of-tellason/

Even in Japan, orSlow can no longer put tabs on any of their jeans. Levis has patented tabs on denim, regardless of position. The change came through about three years ago from memory.

I actually did not know that. But I am happy for Levis, because I really don't like the tags on denim. So in my eyes this is actually a win for repro commuity. 🙃

Have a new with tags size 5 of the OrSlow Chambray Work Shirt found here. Only ever tried it on, fit wasn’t right for me. Looking to get $175 back. Great shirt! Buy mine so I can size up.

Good afternoon! Do you guys have experience with stretching/shrinking of the regular fatigue pants?

I have one pair with the tags still attached in a size 3 (usually wear size 31 or 32 in most brands) and I'm unsure about the size..

Plenty of Japanese denim still have the red tab so if that’s the case, the law suit is still not enforced in Japan. Warehouse, Big John, Denime, Momotaro and many more still has it.

Could someone help with Orslow fatigue pants - is there a difference between Orslow army fatigue and just normal fatigue ? I see different listings on End.com and army fatigue seems more expensive but I can’t work out what the difference is. I’m after a slim fit cut but wondered if “army” is preferable!

I can only speak on orSlow. If other brands can still do red tabs in Japan, I would assume it's because they are too small and have not come up on Levi's radar. Anytime a Japanese brand gets bigger outside of Japan they tend to get hit with the patent, Samurai is a good example.

Easiest way to tell them apart cause most retailers can't be hassled to correctly label their listings:

Slim fit = zip fly

Regular fit = button fly

"Army" is likely just the color, the ones made with rip-stop fabric are a darker green (almost olive), whereas the reverse sateen ones are more like sage green.

The End website is a bit of a mess if you ask me. Lots of inaccurate descriptions etc.

Have a look here.

Wow, Withered Fig hits it out of the park with the in depth review! Shame they're out of stock in all sizes...

I'd recommend a size 2 if you're a 31-32 waist
