Options for narrow grenadine ties?

After extensive use of the search function and google, I am starting to realize that my only options for grenadine ties < 3" wide is Sam Hober or buying them OTR and sending them to a place like this -

http://www.tiecrafters.com/alterations.html

- assuming I can't find a competent tailor in town to do it cheaper. Has anyone ever seen them in a narrower width? Thanks.

I have used Tie Crafters many times for narrowing ties. The results have been consistently good.

Does good mean it was as good as the original?

No, better than the original. The original ties were too wide. They became just right when Tie Crafters narrowed them.

Thanks for the vote of confidence though. I'll have to get around to sending them over to NYC one of these days.

Also, what size knot do you like?

Most grenadine ties make pretty big knots. Check the tie to be altered to see if it will look good with the existing knot and a narrower blade. Otherwise you may have to also narrow the knot area of the tie .

I recently sent some Turnbull & Asser ties to Tcrafters to have the knots reduced and I liked the results.

There are a few narrow grenadines in the BB Black Fleece collection.

I was about to recommend Sam Hober then I noticed you'd already mentioned him. Being very slim and short I'll be ordering some extra short and narrow bespoke ties from him at some point.
