Is it too girly for a straight guy to wear? I'm not too sure how light of a purple it is. I'll have to see once I receive it. Or else it's going to the gf.

I'd pass, give 'em to the girl. I think it's one of those things "If ya gotta ask..." Plus whenever you wear them you'll be wondering if they look okay, and ideally no item of clothing or accessory should ever should lead to such thoughts.

I don't personally care for them, but a similar idea might be the gold framed, pink lens Paul Smith 817 that Bradley Cooper wore in the Hangover.

I'm a straight guy and I'd wear them, but I like purple and wouldn't give it a second thought so I wouldn't run the risk of looking/feeling uncomfortable in them. I agree with EZETHATSME here.
