Yes, it's real. Have you ever heard of a fake Isaia?

If it's your size, grab it! It's a good price and the seller is great. I've bought ties and shirts from him.

Agreed. It's a classic pattern, too.

Sorry, when i said is it real, i meant is it the less expensive line they make or the higher quality line? I get confused sometimes with the inclusion of the name Gianluca and if that is the lesser quality line...i don't think this is one of them,, but i'm not sure?

This is the top line offering. Gianluca with the blue label is the fused diffusion line.

As a simple rule, if you see the word "Isaia" on the label, it's the fully canvassed, higher-end range. If not (e.g. "Gianluca Napoli"), it's the lower end range

It's the regular line, not the less expensive diffusion line.

Thanks, you guys have been very helpful. Last question.....i'm trying to figure out the measurements. It lists the jacket as a 44R but the chest measurement of 48" seems very large for that size, wouldn't it normally be somewhere in the 44 - 46" range?

No, there's normally a 2-4" allowance between the jacket size and actual chest measurement.

depends on the model of this Isaia suit, the 56Euro may fit more like a 46us , some model fit more roomy than others

No offense...but it seems to be the thing that everyone rags on the way your clothes fit. Do you not have a tailor? Seems like it would be beneficial since you buy tailored clothing on eBay.

good point...i do have a tailor that i like in NYC that does good work. But, what i'm trying to figure out is how close a jacket has to fit for him to be able to do the work on it to make it fit very well. In other words, if i can get a great deal on a classic suit like this and it's a bit big, but i can spend a little more and then have my tailor fix that, it may still be a great deal in the long run. So, does anyone know how much a jacket can be taken in by a good tailor. If you wear a 42R for example and the jacket is a 44R or 46R, can a good tailor fix that problem easily?
