What do you think of this coat?

I've heard good things about Corneliani and, as a 38L, I'm always happy to find something that will fit me. I don't have anything by Corneliani but I'm a fan of somewhat bigger lapels/more waist suppression and I wanted to know if this is worth the price and if the apparent 5 sleeve buttons are problematic.

I'm the seller so I'll keep my reply neutral.

It's the 'Drop 9' model - cut quite slim through the waist - this model also tends to be paired with bolder fabrics and design details (broad lapels, five button cuffs, MOP buttons, patch pockets). Think Tom Ford or RLPL on a budget.

Quality is what you'd expect for the retail price - full-canvas construction and nice fabric.

I'm happy to work out a SF member discount!

Oh you're the Top Shelf guy? News to me!

Nice jackets but wearing an odd stripped jacket has some major foes on the forums. Lapels look pretty big too. If you can rock it it's a solid jacket.

Actually, I think the consensus is that stripes can work on an SC if they're wide apart (like the model above).

And Vman's a great seller.

The lapels look dreadful - they neither offer style or anything else positive.
