http://cgi.ebay.com/ws....02&rd=1 I wear a 46R in most sportcoats but am slimming down a bit so a 44 may work for me in another month or 2. Never tried on a PL sportcoat so I'm not too aware of their fit, but I like the look a lot and the price is pretty good. Tough to find really good prices on anything new PL. Opinions? I'm thinking it would pair well with charcoal grey, tan trousers and dress shirts w/no tie or merino wool sweaters.

This coat looks a little more like a suit jacket, as opposed to a blazer. It would look fine with a formal shirt and tan trousers. Mating it with grey trousers and/or a jumper sounds a little too "sports casual".
