Looking to pic up one of these for the fall. I have the Bedale, which I like very much, and wanted to get another Barbour for variety. Anyone own either one of these and could speak about their fit and comfort? Thanks.
The International Jacket (Like the Belstaff Trailmaster):

The Cowen Commando:

I'm partial to the International. Your thoughts?

I am definitely more partial to the Barbour as well. I have been eyeing them for a while, and decided that the original (A7) International would be a great pick for fall and early spring.
I just ordered one from Gifts4 Fishing for $304, including shipping.

I hope you also bought one- probably eons ago.

As the Brits would say, Cheerio!

A proud wearer of the Liddesdale in gold.

Of the two, I prefer the Cowen.

Of all Barbour models, which is the true classic -- the very best Barbour?

Sorry, but as an owner of both I'd say Belstaff all the way (if the style is similar, of course, Belstaff doesn't match all Barbour's styles and vice versa)

If there is such a thing as the true classic Barbour it's the Bedale. Certainly the two styles pictured above are a little outside the classic look, and I'd support the suggestion that if you want a Belstaff-style jacket, it's best to buy a Belstaff. Of the two, I prefer the Cowen, but only because it looks the more traditional.

Perhaps for something a little different, you could try the Leather Beaufort. I've got one and love it.

Is there a model without the bellows pockets on the outside near the hem? Or a similar coat without them by another company?

And where can i find it in brown?

Do you guys think it's a good buy for a 17 year old?

(excuse my english, I'm Norwegian)

Eskdale perhaps? I think it's perfectly fine for 17 year old. I have a waxed one and I'm 16.
