Opinions on these shoes

I have had these shoes for several years and as is obvious from the photos, I've never worn them (out of the house at least). I must have purchased them in 1996 or 1997 as that was when I was buying almost only J&M shoes. They have always seemed a little beyond my usual style. I think I've been saving them for special/formal occasions which have never seemed to occur.

So since it's onvious I've been sitting on the fence all these years I thought I might get some opinions. Are they awesome, hideous, or are you indifferent? They are part of the made in Italy Cellini collection from J&M and as I mentioned definitely circa 96 or 97. Does anyone know anything about the maker, quality, etc? I've decided that i've either got to start wearing them or put the on ebay. Thanks

they are cool in an "I'm wearing two kinds of animal skin" way.

My 4 year old was looking at the big shoe picture that showed up and said:

"oh NO NO NO, pick another one!"

I completely agree.

Ok that's good enough for me - they are headed to ebay. They actually look better in the pictures than they do up close. Thanks for the input.

I'd wear them. With jeans, a funky belt, and a sportshirt. Why the hell not?

Yup. If they fit you, why the hell not. They look decent. Plus, J&M still made quality shoes around the time you got them.

If you dont like'em, ebay is the way.

Maybe you could post em on the Buying and Selling Forum.

I can see why you have never worn them once in ten years. They are hideous ugly. It must have been an impulse buy. No worries. I have done the same thing. One day I buy something. The next day I say "what was I thinking".

I've seen worse.

I agree - softened with a pair of jeans you could certanly get away with them. Whether or not you'd want to try though...
